We’re more than halfway through 2025 and there hasn’t been a post since January. I forgot to update the site about my short term departure (I'm so sorry), but for those of you who follow(ed) me on any of my socials, you saw my adventures abroad. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to study in Germany for a semester. I thought I’d be able to keep up with some of my creative endeavors, but I spent so much time focusing on my studies and traveling around Germany (as one does) that I didn’t have much time to myself to keep up.

I thank everyone for your patience these last few months, but I’d like to announce that I’m back and am excited to be working on this blog again. If you take a look around the site, you’ll notice that some things have changed like missing categories and posts. I’ve gotten rid of the “Notable Ghouls” posts and the polls. These two categories will no longer be separate, but rather incorporated into the long form posts to keep from overworking myself and overloading the site. The Forums are still open for anyone who wants to contribute posts there. It’s also a wonderful way for you all to chat with one another about horror related content that you’re looking forward to or that you want to share.

This is just a sneak preview of what’s to come. A bit of exciting news is that I will be uploading my first long-form post (in a long time) and I’m so ecstatic to be tackling a deep dive of this film. For anyone who is still a member over on my Ko-Fi, you’re one of the lucky few that will soon know what project I will be working on. I would also like to remind everyone that I do take commissions on ideas for topics. If you’d like to commission a topic, I’m offering 15% off all commissions (including topics and reviews for the blog). This discount will be live for the first two weeks of July, so take advantage of it if you’ve been wanting a review or a topic explored.

The slated date for my first long-form post since January will be July 4, 2025. (If anyone can guess what I'll be covering, you'll get a shoutout at the end of the post).
