Hi everyone, I’m Ashley aka Ellahjay on most my platforms! I’ve always been drawn to the horror genre in all medias (books, games, movies, podcasts, etc)—it’s thrilling, unpredictable, and a great escape from the ordinary. I am into all horror slasher films, psychological thrillers, or supernatural horrors, etc. One of my all time favorite characters is Michael Myers; there’s something about the eerie calm and relentless pursuit that makes him iconic. What I love most about horror is how it brings people together. I’ve met some amazing friends through our shared love of horror and the sense of community makes it even more special. Whether it’s discussing our favorite films or just enjoying the spooky vibe, the connections I’ve made have been truly unforgettable.

Highly recommend this Iranian horror movie set in an apartment building in Tehran during the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s. Gripping, frightening, suspenseful, and heartbreaking at times. Reminiscent of The Babadook and The Shining, but not simply because the story centers around a single child. Check this one out if you get the chance. Just a quick question. My last blog post (Late Night With The Devil) ended up being a pretty lengthy read. I've been working throughout the week on the post for tomorrow and wanted a little feedback. Are you guys okay with the lengthier posts? Are they interesting to you or do you find yourself kind of skimming through them? I don't know why my posts for Fridays have been turning out to be so long, but what do you guys think? Should I opt for shorter posts instead? (Please be honest) Thanks guys ^-^
