Housekeeping 9/18/2025

Hello hello everyone.

I'm sorry to be dropping in with yet another update, but I was up most of the night last night messing around with things on the site.

We've already had a few things change after my return from Germany, but a few more things are up that I'm excited to share.

If you're able to take a look around, we no longer have a forum. Instead, we now have "Groups" which will have its name change momentarily since that's such a boring name for a group of horror lovers. Here is where we can have discussions about all things horror together as a community. Anyone who is a VersaScares site member will be able to post in those chats. If you have suggestions, questions, recommendations, or just want to open up a discussion, head over there. ^-^

I am also planning something for October, so keep an eye out for that.

Another change that's coming to the site slowly, but surely, is the "Events" page. Everything posted in this section of the site will be FREE. It will range from movie nights to game nights to potential future VersaScares meetups (most likely distant future). It is just a place to go if you'd like to know what's happening outside of the site. We often host any type of movie nights or game nights or hangouts in my personal VersaFam server. It's always a wonderful time when we get together to enjoy laughing at films like "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Hone" or scream our hearts out as we try to meet quote in Lethal Company or Sketchy's Contract.

If you are not a part of the Discord, you can keep up with events there and join the server temporarily to join in on the fun. If ever you would like to become a permanent member of the server, just let me or a moderator know once you're granted initial access.

If you're already a part of the server, you have nothing to do.
